Former R&B girl group of the 90’s, Brownstone, unfortunately lost a member this past week under sudden and shocking terms. While attending a soccer game in Los Angeles, CA, Charmayne Maxwell fell, later being described as an ‘accidental’ death. With her sudden death, she left behind her son Nicolaj, and Danish husband (also in the music industry as a producer) Carsten Soulshock.
Friends and family have taken to social media to express their pain and their sentiments as they mourn the loss of their mother, wife, daughter, and friend. Maxwell’s brother released a tweet stating “bad things happen to the most innocent people. My sister died in the most terrible way and I’m in so much pain right now”.
Furthermore, former member of Brownstone, Teisha Brown, posted an old picture of the group performing and tweeted “I just need to be by you one more time on stage Max”.
