Gameloft has announced the release of four new apps for Apple’s Smart Watch. The applications cannot necessarily be called games, but they allow Apple Watch users to interact with a few of Gameloft’s iOS titles that are currently available on mobile.
These titles include Asphalt 8: Airborne, Modern Combat 5: Blackout, Brothers In Arms 3, and Dragon Mania Legends.
In Modern Combat 5: Blackout, users can change their class, customize their weapon, and check their event progress. In Brothers In Arms 3, users can view weapon information, claim in-game event rewards, and enlist in new events.
Gameloft senior VP of publishing Gonzague de Vallois stated, “We’re thrilled to innovate alongside Apple and to be on the Apple Watch as soon as it launches in order to offer an innovative way to interact with our games. Thanks to these new features, we will continue to highlight our unique development approach and creativity.”
All four of the game-related apps are currently available for Apple Watch users.
