Most Anticipated Games of 2015


1. Batman: Arkham Knight

This game intends to be a summer blockbuster, bringing the Caped Crusader’s amazing open-world series to new-gen hardware for the first time. Gotham City will be about five times larger than in the last Batman Arkham series, and you will now also be able to use the Batmobile to get around and blast enemies, thanks to its new Battle Mode Transformation.

2. Rock Band 4

Harmonix is gearing up to bring Rock Band back to consoles and the new installment sounds like it will keep the basics of the original: guitars, drums, and vocals. All existing DLC will be compatible within the same console family. New instruments are will be released, but they are looking into making the old ones work.

3. Rise of the Tomb Raider

Lara Croft experienced some rather unsettling things in last year’s series reboot, and it has changed her as a person. Even though she may dabble a bit in therapy, it is still clear that she is still hungry for adventure.

4. Guitar Hero Live

With Rock Band making a comeback, it is only natural that Guitar Hero will return as well. This will not be a full band game, just a “return-to-the-roots” guitar game. The guitars have changed in this new installment; six buttons, two stacked rows of three across, and the in-game note lane has changed as a result. And it is also set against live video of crowds reacting to your every action.

5. Tom Clancy’s The Division

Set in New York City after a pandemic sends the U.S. into chaos, it follows a team of sleeper agents attempting to restore order in the destroyed setting. The Division also merges solo campaign and massively multiplayer online action.

6. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt takes full advantage of new hardware to deliver a huge, enticing world to explore, plus you can expect another strong, mature narrative and plenty of brutal combat in the fantasy universe.
