Apparel Ism Journal and Newswire (1999)

I was living in Tallahassee after withdrawing from school when I created the first issue. It was initially four pages long and took thirty days to produce with the help of a $100 dollar donation from PJ Chatman. This was the first time in my adult life that my dream was financially supported. The journal showcased my clothing but also had stories included. In 2003, while living in Miami, I created the second issue, which had grown to eight pages. But it became too costly to print, so in 2005 it became a newswire.
