Tamar Braxton Hospitalized After Alleged Suicide Attempt
Los Angeles– Grammy Nominated singer Tamar Braxton is currently hospitalized after an alleged suicide attempt on Thursday, July 16, 2020. In a statement by BET, “Braxton was staying at the Ritz Carlton Residences in Downtown Los Angeles with her boyfriend David Adefeso, who is said to have made the distressed phone call to the Los Angeles Police Department, about a 43-year-old woman who had a medical emergency due to a “possible overdose”.”

According to US Magazine, “In Adefeso’s 911 call at approximately 9:45 p.m. EST, he reportedly said that he believed that Tamar had attempted suicide after drinking and taking prescription drugs.” Also, in a statement made by ABC7 News, “As the police responded to the Ritz Carlton Residences in the 900 block of Olympic Boulevard, a woman was found unresponsive and unconscious, later on, a spokesperson for the L.A.P.D. said. Braxton was transported to California Hospital Medical Center, which is located about a mile from the skyscraper, and was listed in stable condition.”
