Local News Atlanta
22 nurses practicing in Georgia have allegedly obtained their licenses with pseudo diplomas or transliterations. The Georgia Board of Nursing has dispatched them letters asking them to voluntarily surrender their nursing licenses enclosed in a month.
Those epistles were sent on Jan. 17 and until now, none of the nurses have them. The Georgia nurses are apparently amidst the thousands who paid $15,000 each for a fake diploma from three different south Florida nursing schools. The Department of Justice has announced charges against 25 people for supposedly began a scheme that illicitly transported over 7,600 phony nursing degree diplomas from three defunct Florida schools to practicing nurses across the US.
