The Michael Stephens Story

WATCH VIDEO: MICHAEL STEPHENS STORY: FOOTBALL, FAITH, and FAMILY

THE MICHAEL STEPHENS STORY is a new program fund presented by the QEB Foundation to benefit the Stephens Family and other families with similar conditions. Founder of QEB Foundation, Qn. Everlena Brown (QEB) had no idea what blessing was in store when she agreed to volunteer with Lipstick Complete at the Ronald McDonald House on DEC 27, 2015.

After serving the families, she began her one-on-one interview with Katoya Stephens regarding Michael’s’ condition. A brave autistic 9-year-old, Michael was in need of two heart surgeries and brain surgery over the next year. Upon discovering their mutual interest in Autism and sponsoring the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, they decided to combine their efforts. Michael Stephens was autistic and recently received a wish grant from Make-A-Wish. QEB was trying to figure out how to complete her fundraising commitment to designated Autism organizations and Make-A-Wish GA. Not to mention, QEB and Michael share the same birthday MAR 3.

From 8-10PM every first and third Saturday of the month, #WINSaturdays at Deja Vu 2 powered by QEB  is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for THE MICHAEL STEPHENS STORY. THE MICHAEL STEPHENS STORY is part of the emergency program initiative. Other QEB Foundation program initiatives include scholarship, internship, fellowship, and experiences.
