First time I  published anything, I was only 6. My art teacher, Mrs. Schafer had given us crayons and pens to create drawings. Obsessed with red hair, I drew a leprechaun. Impressed by the work, she submitted my drawing to the school administrators. They used it for the design on the march calendars each student received to keep up with important dates. I knew then, I was special and wanted to make a living creating art.

Destined to be a calendar girl, here is Kay Redd (R.I.P), and his entourage, holding up the QEB 2011 Calendar Poster @ DREAMin on Trinity Avenue. It was Queen's birthday, so everyone was asked to wear her favorite color GREEN.

Ludlam Elementary School is located in the heart of South Miami, Florida.  The school was built in 1958 and named after Walter H. Ludlam, pioneer settler during the early days of the development of Miami.  Mr. Ludlam was instrumental in the construction of Ludlam Road, which is the street adjacent to our school.
